Two men, identified thus far only as Michael and Jake, got engaged during Thursday night's Spurs-Bulls game in Chicago. No, not your typical arena proposal, at all.
Early reports say the reaction from the United Center crowd was positive.

The proposal also had observers wondering if they had witnessed history.
Can anyone recall another same-sex marriage proposal at an NBA game? Was this the first one? Definitely first one I’ve seen in Chicago.

With one same-sex proposal now out on the internet, it should just be a matter of time before we see more of them across the country.
