Former NBA star Tracy McGrady, Kansas coach Bill Self, late Bulls GM Jerry Krause, former ABA star George McGinnis and former UConn women’s star Rebecca Lobo are among the 2017 inductees into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Harlem Globetrotters owner and chairman Mannie Jackson, Black Fives Era star Zack Clayton, former NCAA executive Tom Jernstedt, Notre Dame women's coach Muffet McGraw and Texas high school coach Robert Hughes are also part of this year’s class.

The announcement was made Saturday outside University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., site of the 2017 Final Four.

McGrady was a seven-time All-Star and led the NBA in scoring in the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons as a member of the Magic. He also played for the Rockets, Raptors, Pistons, Knicks, Hawks and Spurs during his 15-year career in the league.

Self has led the Jayhawks to 13 straight Big 12 regular-season titles and the national title in 2008.

Krause, who died March 21, was twice named NBA executive of the year and was the architect of the Bulls’ dynasty in the 1990s.

McGinnis was a six-time All-Star, earning the honor three times in the ABA and three times in the NBA. As a member of the Indiana Pacers, he shared the ABA MVP award with Julius Erving in 1974-75.

Lobo led UConn to the 1995 national championship and was a member of Team USA’s gold-medal winning team at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.

The Class of 2017 will be inducted Sept. 8 at the facility in Springfield, Mass.
