Early Tuesday morning, LeBron James provided uncharacteristically harsh comments to ESPN regarding Charles Barkley in response to criticism leveled by the TNT analyst.
"I'm not going to let him disrespect my legacy like that," James said about Barkley. "I'm not the one who threw somebody through a window. I never spit on a kid. I never had unpaid debt in Las Vegas. I never said, 'I'm not a role model.' I never showed up to All-Star Weekend on Sunday because I was in Vegas all weekend partying."
There's more where that came from (all of his quotes are worth reading), but the gist is: James is upset with Barkley, and isn't taking that kind of talk from anyone.
