Indeed, the NBA legend received an honorary doctor of business degree from Xavier University of Louisiana on Saturday while participating in the school's commencement ceremonies.
As a former athlete worth an estimated $500 million, I don't think Johnson really needs any further schooling in how to be a successful business person, but I'm sure the degree holds a special sentimental value anyway.
