Can Joel Embiid, Sixers' keep 'Process' moving forward after impressive start?

After two years of waiting, the 76ers and their fans finally got a chance to see Joel Embiid play in a meaningful game — and the kid did not disappoint.

The former Kansas star scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds in 22 minutes as the Sixers lost 103-97 to the Thunder on Wednesday night.

Problem is, he's probably the most healthy out of the bunch right now, with 2016 top pick Ben Simmons out recovering from a Jones fracture in his foot. Former lottery pick Nerlens Noel will miss the first month of the season after undergoing knee surgery, while Jahlil Okafor is on a minutes restriction as he recovers from soreness in his knee.

The so-called "Process" isn't nearly complete, but it does appear to be progressing. And it has a big believer in Embiid.

"Man the fans showed so much love...," he tweeted after his NBA debut. "I freaking LOVE YALL!!!! TRUST THE PROCESS."
