Russell Westbrook never ceases to amaze. Sometimes, it just doesn't help his team win games.

The mercurial star collected his 56th career triple-double in Friday's 96-86 loss to the Timberwolves by scoring 21 points with 12 assists and 11 rebounds. Unfortunately for Oklahoma City, Westbrook shot just 7 of 23 from the floor and turned the ball over 10 times.

Westbrook is now the only player with multiple triple-doubles with 10-plus turnovers in a season since turnovers were compiled as an official stat (1973-74).

On the plus side, this was Westbrook's 19th triple-double of the season, the most by any player in a season since Wilt Chamberlain had 31 in 1967-68.

Don't look now, but the T-Wolves are starting to mesh. Minnesota's disappointing start was a head-scratcher considering all of its blossoming stars. Karl Anthony-Towns — the brightest of those stars — scored 29 points with 17 rebounds. Ricky Rubio, who runs hot and cold, had 14 points and 14 assists.

Andrew Wiggins added 19 points and six rebounds to help Minnesota win its third straight game.

Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas strengthened his position as the most clutch player in the NBA by pouring in 28 points — 13 in the fourth quarter — and nine assists in a 103-101 win against the Hawks. Thomas also hit the game-winner with just over two seconds left on the clock.

Kemba Walker scored 17 points in a 102-93 loss against the 76ers, but he shot just 7 of 23 from the field and turned the ball over four times. Charlotte's fearless point guard has had an up-and-down season thus far. The Hornets started out looking like playoff contenders; however, they have lost six out of their last seven contests.

Antetokounmpo finished the 116-108 win against the Heat with 19 points on 8 of 12 shooting. He also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out six assists.
