The Celtics came into the 2016-17 season looking like a contender in the Eastern Conference.
Nearly two weeks into the season, the Celtics are 3-3 and understandably frustrated, and guard Isaiah Thomas feels his team hasn’t been living up to expectations.
The Celtics started off 3-1, but dropped back-to-back games against the Cavaliers and Nuggets, giving up a combined 245 points in those games.
"At this point, we’re all talk," Thomas said. "That’s all we’re doing. So until we put it together in a full 48-minute game and show what we can do at that end, we’re not gonna be a top defensive team."
The Celtics will get a chance to regroup as they are off until Wednesday when they face the Wizards.
