DeMarcus Cousin's temper got the better of him on Saturday, and it cost him.

The Kings center was fined $25,000 Monday by the NBA for throwing his mouthpiece and going into the stands after fouling out in his team's 106-103 win over the Timberwolves, the league announced.

Cousins' toss came with just under 40 seconds to go in Saturday's game when he drew his sixth foul.

Out of frustration, he tossed the mouthpiece about 10 rows into the stands and stormed into the aisle to retrieve it.
