Amar'e Stoudemire isn't playing basketball in the NBA anymore but the former Suns and Knicks All-Star is once again making homophobic comments.
Now playing in Israel for Hapoel Jerusalem, Stoudemire was asked during an interview with Walla Sport if American players in the league would be fine with playing alongside an openly gay teammate.
“I’m going to shower across the street, make sure my change of clothes are around the corner, and I’m going to drive … take a different route to the gym," Stoudemire said to the disbelief of a journalist, who asked if he was joking.
“I mean, there’s always a truth within a joke,” Stoudemire said, while wearing a "Spiritual Gangster" sweatshirt.
