Kevin Durant supports team's decision '100 percent' to fire Scott Brooks

On Wednesday, the Thunder after seven seasons at the helm.

Although Brooks was in charge when the Thunder advanced to the NBA Finals in 2012, he was unable to retain his job following a 45-37 season in which the Thunder did not make the playoffs.

Reigning MVP Kevin Durant, who played in just 19 games because of a foot injury, took to Instagram on Wednesday night to comment on the Brooks' firing.

While many were tough on Brooks for his lack of in-game strategy, Durant enjoyed playing for Brooks and enjoyed spending time with him. But as a business man, Durant understands his team's desire to move forward.

With Durant becoming a free agent after next season, the hiring of a new coach will be especially important.
