Rick Carlisle doesn't expect Rajon Rondo to suit up for the Mavericks ever again

Mavericks guard Rajon Rondo i sustained in his team's to the Rockets on Tuesday.

When asked if the superstar guard would ever play for the Mavericks again, head coach Rick Carlisle gave a very candid answer.

Do you expect Rajon Rondo to ever wear a Mavericks uniform again? "No, I don't," Rick Carlisle said.

It is no secret that Rondo and Carlisle seemingly from the moment the guard was acquired from the Celtics in December. Even more fuel was added to the potential fire when Rondo played under ten minutes in on Tuesday, which included several tense moments between the player and coach.

The team stated that Rondo's absence from a majority of the second half was due to a back injury he sustained in the first half, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it's more than likely a cover up.

With such a serious back injury, I'm surprised Rajon Rondo was first out of locker room instead of going to trainer's room for treatment.

It was always believed that Rondo would move on at the end of the season, but few believed it would happen during a playoff series.
